GENERAL TABLES SUPPORT

OVERVIEW

In every application there are codes which can only have a restricted set of values, and often we want to present a description of the code. The General Tables Support supports bot of these services without repetitive coding in the programs.



TABLES FUNCTIONS

These are the standard tables support functions used from any application

TABLES UPDATE

Codes are managed through code tables in applications. The Tables Update for an application is set up to only update the code tables for that application. All updates are done through the Tables Update with Add support.

TABLE LIST

Table Lists are done by a single program. When the program begins, it displays the first entries in the selected table.

Select a Code from a List
Only the most basic List Select codes - D, U, Y - are used to select entries from the table list.

PRINT CODE TABLES

To print a copy of the code tables.
