AERIS/400     General Ledger
This is a comprehensive General Ledger system with integrated management reporting and budgeting. It has been used in a wide range of industries including: manufacturing, distribution, construction, accounting services, printing, mining, associations, and consulting.
The application can be adapted to a variety of business styles and accounting practices without reprogramming. Customization to further enhance the system is facilitated by the database design and the modular approach to programming. Ease of learning for the novice user is stressed in our approach to implementation. The application is implemented on the AS/400 in fully native mode.

  • 22 character Account Number with five management reporting levels above the Control Account, and two sub-levels.

  • Budgeting in detail by account or at summary levels.

All transactions are validated during input and by the Edit List to ensure they are complete and apply only to valid accounts. Only error-free, balanced batches for which a Batch Register was printed can be posted.Transactions, including batches received from other applications can be modified at any time prior to posting. Correcting transactions can be posted to any active period.
